In addition, Dr. Lagos is an active member of ANS and ANS\u2019 Executive Committee Robotics &amp; Remote Systems Division (RRSD). In this capacity, Dr. Lagos serves as RRSD\u2019s newly elected treasurer and contributes toward the advancement of robotic systems and technology for the nuclear industry. The Applied Research Center is currently supporting the Department of Energy\u2019s Office of Environmental Management (DOE-EM) in a number of remote system technology development efforts for application in DOE-EM\u2019s environmental remediation mission.
