The article\u00a0\u201cSpontaneous<\/i>\u00a0redox continuum reveals sequestered technetium clusters and retarded mineral transformation of iron\u201d<\/i> authored by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and FIU\u2019s Applied Research Center (ARC) researchers Daria Boglaienko, Jennifer A. Soltis, Ravi K. Kukkadapu, Yingge Du, Lucas E. Sweet, Vanessa E. Holfeltz, Gabriel B. Hall, Edgar C. Buck, Carlo U. Segre, Hilary P. Emerson, Yelena Katsenovich and Tatiana G. Levitskaia, is based on research conducted as part of the Hanford Site\u2019s Technetium (Tc) Management Program at PNNL (PI, Dr. Levitskaia). The research is also supported by the DOE collaborative FIU-PNNL MSIPP project titled,\u00a0\u201cManagement of Hanford Low Activity Waste Off-Gas Condensate\u201d<\/i>\u00a0(PI, Dr. Katsenovich). Dr. Daria Boglaienko, a main contributor to this paper, was a postdoctoral associate with ARC\u2019s Soil and Groundwater Remediation Group at the time of the project\u2019s inception and is now a postdoctoral associate at PNNL. This research led her to develop advanced skills in X-ray absorption spectroscopy and other solids characterization techniques, which she is applying in her studies.<\/p>\n
